Your Advisor, Not Your Vendor
Long-term cyber risk governance for individuals and families who need discretion, continuity, and a trusted partner — not another security product.
Why Advisory, Not Just Protection
Most security firms are built around incidents. They're discovered during a crisis, engaged for a project, and disappear when the invoice is paid. That model doesn't work for individuals and families facing persistent, evolving risk.
AAM Cyber exists to provide something different: a long-term advisory relationship that governs how cyber risk is managed across your life, your family, and your trusted advisors. We're engaged before crises happen — designing systems, coordinating with your existing team, and reducing your exposure over time.
When protection is needed, we have the capabilities. But our primary role is ensuring you rarely need them.
Experience That Informs Advisory
I'm Pharns Genece. My path to cyber risk advisory wasn't through certifications and corporate ladders — it was forged in environments where judgment, discretion, and long-term thinking were non-negotiable.
17 Years in the Air Force
I spent nearly two decades in the United States Air Force, primarily in medical evacuation operations. When you're responsible for lives in high-stakes environments, you develop a different relationship with risk. You learn that preparation beats reaction, that coordination across teams is essential, and that calm under pressure is a skill — not a personality trait.
Building a Company to $5.6M
After the Air Force, I founded USOG, a drone delivery company that grew to $5.6 million in revenue with coverage from Nasdaq and major press outlets. I hold four patent-pending drone delivery systems. Building a company from nothing taught me how principals actually make decisions — and why most security advice fails to account for the realities of running a business, managing a family, and protecting a reputation simultaneously.
Disney Standards
As a Technical Lead at The Walt Disney Company, I worked in an environment where excellence is the baseline. Disney's commitment to quality across every detail shaped my approach to advisory work. Every client engagement receives the same meticulous attention — because discretion and trust are built through consistency.
Teaching the Next Generation
I serve as an adjunct professor at MiraCosta College, teaching in their sUAS program. Education isn't just about transferring knowledge — it's about building understanding. When I work with clients, I bring that same commitment to helping them grasp not just what we're doing, but why it matters for their specific situation.
Background & Credentials
How We Work
Advisory-Led Engagement
Every relationship begins with understanding your situation — your exposure, your concerns, your existing advisors, and your goals. We design a governance approach before recommending any specific services.
Coordination, Not Competition
We work alongside your wealth manager, estate attorney, executive protection team, and family office staff. Our role is to integrate cyber risk into the advisory ecosystem you've already built — not to replace anyone.
Boutique by Design
I limit the number of engagements I accept to ensure every client receives direct attention from me — not a junior analyst or outsourced team. Quality over quantity, always.
By Introduction
AAM Cyber operates primarily through referrals. This isn't gatekeeping — it's quality control. When someone introduces us, both parties have context, and engagements start with established trust.
Discretion as Standard
Many of our clients can't be named — and wouldn't want to be. Confidentiality isn't a feature; it's fundamental to the work. You'll never see client names in marketing materials.
